New Student Registration

Welcome to Lord Botetourt High School

 

Parents or guardians who need to register a new student should schedule an appointment with Ms. Beard, the School Counseling Office Administrative Assistant, by emailing [email protected] or calling (540) 992-5182. 

 

Items to bring with you to the appointment:

  1. Enrollment Forms 

    1. If you cannot access a printer, you may pick up a physical copy at the school.

    2. Once the forms are completed you can email them to [email protected], or fax them to (540) 966-4322 or bring them with you to the appointment.

  2. Copy of the student's birth certificate

  3. Proof of residency

Botetourt County Public Schools requires all schools to document proof of residency for each student enrolled. As a result, when a student is being registered in Botetourt County Public Schools for the first time, it is necessary that the parent or guardian present reasonable proof of residing in Botetourt County. The parent or legal guardian may establish residency in Botetourt County by providing one of the following documents in the name of the individual:

  1. Copy of a mortgage, lease, or deed of your residence in Botetourt County OR

  2. If you do not have any of the above, you must provide both of the following:

    1. current utility bill, AND

    2. current bank statement or check stub issued by an employer.

  1. Other Information you may be asked to provide includes:

    1. Withdrawal Form from the previous school, (if applicable)

    2. An unofficial transcript or final report card from the previous school

    3. Immunization Records

    4. IEP or 504 (if applicable)

    5. Custody papers (if applicable)
