What is Advanced Placement?

We offer AP classes to our Juniors and Seniors in English, History, Chemistry, and French. Advanced Placement is a program run by the College Board that is designed to give you the experience of an entry-level college class while you’re still in high school.

2019 AP Exam Information

To register for an AP exam, students need to sign up with Mrs. Leonard in the School Counseling Office. Here is the schedule for all AP exams we are offering at LBHS in May 2019:

Registration deadlines:

November 9 - Fall semester & year long courses

February 22 - Spring semester courses

March 1 - Final payment due for all AP exams

The cost per exam is $94, and a non-refundable deposit of $40 is due at the time of registration for the exam.

A $40 late fee will be charged on top of the full exam price for any exams ordered after the registration deadlines. No exam orders can be changed after March 1st.

If you have any questions regarding AP testing, please contact Christen Meyers in the School Counseling Office at LBHS. More information regarding testing locations and times will be sent out at the end of April.
